Anson Reynolds

Pronouns:
She/ Her

Anson is majoring in Business Management, International Business, and LEAD, with a minor in Spanish. Her involvement in an in-school tutoring program for English as a New Language (ENL) students stands out as her proudest achievement, symbolizing earned trust and genuine relationships built across language barriers.

Anson’s favorite author, Roald Dahl, fuels her imagination, while her favorite quote, “Anything you build on a large scale ... invites chaos” by Francis Ford Coppola, reminds her to embrace the chaos of big dreams and grand plans.

Growing up in Bloomington, Anson embraced IU since it allows her to stay close to her three younger sisters while exploring international study programs and engaging with the Wells Scholars Program. She values problem-solving, a skill honed by her father’s encouragement to approach challenges with creativity and empathy.

Anson is also passionate about cooking, a hobby she began with guidance from her grandma. Her journey in the kitchen reflects her love of learning and appreciation for family traditions. Anson will hold the Jefferson Shreve Scholarship.
