Sky finds immense inspiration in books like Atomic Habits by James Clear, The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck, and Season of Migration to the North by Tayeb Salih. The Ignatian quote “Ite, inflammate omnia,” meaning “Go forth, set the world on fire,” drives his mission to spread passion and zeal for community. Sky plans to study Computer Science at IU, as programming is Sky’s happy place, offering him a state of Zen where he comfortably solves problems and creates anything under the sun, losing track of time. His most important value is to exceed expectations and become the best version of himself, guiding his academic and personal endeavors. Sky will hold the Robert & Bert Irie Scholarship.
