Caitlyn is from Indianapolis, Indiana and plans to study Political Science. She is most proud of her work with Timmy Global Health, including a service trip to the Dominican Republic with the organization. A favorite quote from her mother, “20 minutes,” has taught her to quickly move past disappointments. Caitlyn’s happy place is on stage, acting in plays and musicals, where she loves exploring new characters and collaborating with others. She enjoys reading plays and screenplays, imagining the potential of each performance.
Empathy is Caitlyn’s most important value, as she believes in treating people with kindness and grace. Staying active is another passion; she has played soccer her entire life, gaining valuable lessons in leadership, communication, and commitment. Caitlyn will hold the Jennie Hutton Jacoby Scholarship.
