Kyle (he/him) expects to major in biochemistry at Indiana University, which he chose for its diverse student body, the stunning campus, and the many opportunities that he hopes will allow him to nurture his interests. Kyle is particularly proud of his test-taking chops, having achieved perfect scores in both the SAT and ACT. He considers The Hunger Games, Lord of the Flies, and Of Mice and Men favorite books. Kyle feels inspired by the late Princess Diana, to him “a model of human character and kindness.” Kindness also happens to be the value he cherishes most, and spending time with friends, as well as making new friends, is his greatest source of enjoyment. Kyle hopes to become involved in many different student organizations while at IU and might even end up founding his own club. He dreams of studying abroad, either in New Zealand or a South American country, in search of a place that combines rich biodiversity and magnificent scenery. Kyle would like to thank his biomedical teacher, Ms. Peters, for always pushing him to do his best and for showing him how to be a lifelong learner. Kyle will hold the H.H. Wells scholarship in the Wells Scholars Program.
