Noah Moore
Hometown:

Biography

Growing up in Bloomington means that IU has been Noah’s backyard; he was exposed to its impressive resources on an almost weekly basis. Yet he still finds more to explore and is looking forward to pursuing his passions in psychology and theatre while making valuable connections that could never be replicated elsewhere. He is the seventeenth Scholar from Bloomington South. Noah is keen to travel and in particular would like to visit Dubai and environs, an interesting area about which he doesn’t know much yet. He also thinks it would be fascinating to travel to the fictional realm of Flat Earth to check out what the edge looks like and try skydiving! Offered the chance to dine with anyone living or deceased, he’d choose Brian Wilson, the lead singer and songwriter of the Beach Boys, to pick his brain about what it is like to be so influential on generations of music-makers. He loves the oddly well-known movie Groundhog Day, which masks as a comedy with a side of romance but is in actuality an existential horror film. Noah would like to thank his parents, his younger brothers, his grandparents, his close friends, and the ghost living in his basement, all of whom provided him with nothing but support to the fullest extent. He will hold the Edward A. Hutton and Hutton Scholarship Fund scholarships.
