Biography
Ronak is the first Scholar from Palatine High School, and often defends his decision to attend school out-of-state by passionately describing the amazing opportunities students have at IU, including the friendly and diverse student body, the exciting student life, and the prestigious academic programs. He will study finance at IU. In childhood, Ronak wanted to become the next American Ninja Warrior. Instead, he has found a happy medium on the other side of the bench in coaching Special Olympics teams. Not much of a chef, Ronak enjoys preparing milk and cereal, and can also make minute mac and cheese in just 57 seconds. Ronak would like to thank his parents for their continued support and dedication, the example they set through their own actions of the values of hard work and the benefits of education, and the advice to never forget your roots. “You will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory” (Dr. Seuss).
Ronak will hold the Roy G. and Fern B. Tobias and Byron K. Elliott scholarships.
